Flints Pond

Flints Pond is a 50-acre warm-water pond located in Hollis, New Hampshire. The pond is open to the public and a popular place for fishing, kayaking and canoeing in the summer. In the winter ice fishing, snowshoeing, and snowmobiling are also popular. A public boat ramp and parking area are available via the State Access Road at the north end of the pond. The FPIA does not monitor recreational activities on the pond, please make safety an important part of your visit.

The Association

Water Quality

The FPIA participates in the Volunteer Lake Assessment Program (VLAP), a cooperative waterbody health program with the New Hampshire Department of Environmental Services.

Weed Watchers

Weed Watchers is a volunteer program in association with the New Hampshire Department of Environmental Services dedicated to monitoring lakes and ponds for aquatic invasive plants.

Boaters

Please be aware that Flints Pond is an unfortunate host to Variable Milfoil, an exotic aquatic nuisance weed. Please check your boats and trailers and remove all traces of weeds to prevent spreading this invasive to other waterways.

The State of New Hampshire prohibits the use of petroleum powered motors on the pond. Electric motors are limited to 3 horsepower or less.
